early to rise

woke early this morning, and instead of lazing around in the bed like a rat i actually got around to doing something: i went to the office! this was without a doubt an incredibly productive day. i sent about a gazillion emails before lunch time hit, and then lo and behold! my sga t-shirts came in early! so now i am wearing one of these fine shirts as i type, fresh out of the box. to top all of that off, my door plaque got finished at furlong's and will finally be put on the office door. it feels so nice to be a productive person. it had felt like the summer was dragging along slowly for a while, as if there was not much to do or accomplish, but now that i'm on my "office hours kick" everything is right as rain.

i have meetings galore to attend next week with all sorts of administration folk. fun. for real. i get along very nicely with the peeps in charge around here, for the most part. i've heard i gotta steer clear of certain over-protective secretaries, though. but anyway, tuesday is a big day because i get to attend a huge training session for how to handle programming and web development with the liquidmatrix program that the school has purchased for our new website. guaranteed sweetness, let me tell ya. check it out here. this program is going to help take the sga to a whole other level.

can't wait for the fall. this is gonna be too much fun. (and then comes the stress -wink-)
