find your spot!
08 June 2005

so i came across a neat little fun thingy in a friend's blog from a site called findyourspot.com. you take a quiz that gives you results in the form of a list of your top 24 places that match your preferences, from culture and the arts to geography. nifty!

here's my list:
orlando, florida
jacksonville, florida
houston, texas
charleston, south carolina
norfolk, virginia
chesapeake-virginia beach, virginia
west palm beach, florida
tampa, florida
austin, texas
charlotte, north carolina
carlisle, pennsylvania
san antonio, texas
miami, florida
nashville, tennessee
fort worth, texas
memphis, tennessee
richmond, virginia
long island, new york
knoxville, tennessee
louisville, kentucky
oklahoma city, oklahoma
dallas, texas
pittburgh, pennsylvania
philadelphia, pennsylvania
italic: visited
bold/italic: lived there

crazy! i've visited 16 of these places and lived in 1 of them. i am a city boy! montgomery, alabama could never contain me. it's funny to me how all of my favorite cities were taken from a very small list of states. we have florida, texas, tennessee, virginia (my favorite place in the world, virginia is for lovers!), kentucky, oklahoma (where'd that one come from?!), pennsylvania, new york, south carolina, and north carolina. there's a sweet little east coast trend for the most part. i like the list, but what disappoints is that 2 of my most preferred places weren't on it: atlanta, georgia and baltimore, maryland! what's the deal? i loves me the atl!

a certain someone should find it interesting that charleston was my #4 spot. hmmm...

where are your fave spots?
and for some more goofy fun, here is the oracle of bacon.
