Spirit, whisper a revival and send us rushing
finally received the new watermark cd. already know the whole thing. i'm a freak.
had some great jam out time at the lake. i brought my guitar and djimbe, so of course we had some fun worship time. i am thanking Jesus that will collins and the mississippi posse have come to landmark. they are already a huge blessing to many people. i think God's gonna use them in the revival of faulkner's campus. hope He uses me too! anyway, i got to spend some time with those folks just singing and talking about music. i say it all the time: i could do this for a living. and i mean it. i really could.
the worship team for this year is unbelievably talented. winds from the east bring mention of a possible recording. exciting times. really, if i can get something pulled together for the team, i think we could put out some new worship stuff that people would love to listen to, praise to, and sing to. personally, i'm big on not ripping off or competing with other folks' material that has already gone a capella, so i've been searching for a lot of stuff that could have some great possibilities. next step is resourcing. gotta work the connections, baby!
but first, while all this fun stuff is marinatin', i have to pass a room check tomorrow. peace it.
