the good stuff. i'm in like, and maybe a tad more! the apartment is looking shnazzy. it's all decked out and ready for visitors. my room is making its way to a presentable state. the walls are covered, the furniture is put together, and the closet is full. it's down to that annoying stage of just straightening up the little things and figuring out where to put old stuff like papers and nostalgic shtuff. anyway, love my crib. i sing in nathan and jennifer's wedding this saturday. i am pumped. can't wait to sing for them.

gus died last week. i've already dealt, but gena is still dealing and needs closure to everything. we're having a little kitty funeral tonight, so she can have her last little goodbye. gus was a good cat. 15 years old. passed in his sleep. i could tell he was having a kitten dream, like he always does. he was curled up when we found him under the guest bed, eyes barely open and tongue sticking out just a little bit. he looks like that when he has a dream that he is feeding like a kitten, so we know it wasn't painful for him. i'll miss him. first pet i ever had that died. i think it's interesting that he died the day after i returned from being gone the whole summer. he was ready to go.
