although most people know and celebrate today as halloween, aka all hallow's eve, aka happy satan day (j/k... kinda), i love and adore today as the less known, albeit more important happy reformation day!

no, that's not restoration, it's reformation. just getting that straight for the coc-curious folk out there. but yeah, today basically marks the event wherein martin luther posted his 99 arguments against the practices of the roman catholic church in protest of their abuse of power, privilege, and prestige.

now don't get me wrong, i'm no anti-catholic bigot. i actually think we could learn a lot more about how clueless we are when it comes to God. the catholics and orthodox groups tend to have a knack for reminding us how ignorant we all naturally are about mysteries of the divine type.

i also think we can teach them a thing or two about some stuff, but this isn't the place to get into that little tiff.
