in the hizzle
i'm addicted to facebook, or as andy brewster calls it, the juice. this thing is crazy fun, and not even too much of any good thing. it's a mere profile sorter that organizes you according to your school and creates social networks. yet, somehow, it is amazingly addictive, and has drawn in many, many students (as well as school staff) to spend countless hours of the day mesmerized by john gordon's sumo wrestler picture and the "i love bubble baths" group. crazy stuff. i've barely escaped the hardcore addiction, but it is quite tempting to spend more time on it than i ought to. at least i haven't skipped anything important for it yet. -fingers crossed-
jen and i are loving our little couples activities. double dating, couples movies, couples this, couples that. i swear, everything is so much more fun when you're doing it with other couples. not that single friends are boring; on the contrary, they are a hoot as well, but we've just had so much fun lately with married folk, and it just feels more real than a lot of the adhd relationships i have. easier to focus, easier to share with, easier to be deep with. just different from what i am used to. i mean, i look back on the past year and my favorite friend memories are of doing stuff with patrick and bevin, nathan and jennifer, the wrights, jen's bro chris and his wife mary, etc... good times.
well, i must skedaddle; jen and i will be eating with nathan and jennifer tonight! fo shizzle!
