ok, not really, but it's cute. ya gotta admit it.
heading out to a coffeehouse thing tonight. not that it's a real coffeehouse by any stretch of the imagination. heaven forbid that. wake-up call: a concert does not ever = a coffeehouse. period. let's call a spade a spade. done with that. i'm still gonna enjoy it, though. of course. network the event, meet some new peeps, all that jazz.
oh crap, i just sparked a random buried memory from high school. crap! i hate those things! i remember back when i was hardcore in the band nerd empire, and this new restaurant opened in san antonio. me and some fellow band nerds decided to see if we could pull together some jazz to play for the owner, that way maybe he would let us play in his nice new ristaurante for a while and make some sweet moolah quicker than you could say uncle rico. anyway, he went for it, but then the whole band thing started to wear off and get lame, so people just up and started quitting, and i evolved into a money-hungry power nazi ready to perform some cheap chicago hits with a trombone, 2 trumpets and clarinet. what was i thinking?! aaaaarrrrrgggghhhh!!!!
