these are the days

it's been quite fun this week as i've been working with social clubs. they're going through their pledge week right now, which to them is a living hades, but to me is a walk in the park (considering the fact that back when i pledged at abilene it was a lot longer than a week, and harder too, hence the strong antihazing laws in texas). anyway, i've been co-chairing the pledging committee with the student government association vp, and we've so far organized and executed some fun stuff for the pledges like pledge week olympics. loads of hilarity has ensued, and i think i'll help again next year. big fun.

i like how i'm not an education major but i love teaching people stuff. my psych assessment class has a killer exam tomorrow and some classmates are scared to death of failing, so i set aside this morning and evening to tutor/study with/teach them. seriously, i almost missed chapel because i was caught up in teaching some math stuff and testing concepts. i've never really had a desire to pursue education higher than a masters in counseling psychology, but i'm really thinking i should consider getting a doctorate in education and eventually teaching in a university or something. i get great satisfaction out of helping people learn and understand things. it makes the time fly by, and i figure most things that make you forget the clock are usually worth pursuing. that makes the list a little bit longer with music, psychology, math and now teaching.

fun fun fun!
