open the floodgates

it's crazy how many people have been puring into the upper room lately. i have quickly found myself considering other avenues for the worship team since last week. there is so much talent waiting to be used in service to the body of Christ here, and i almost don't know what to do with it. i had thought that i would have just enough people to put together a good praise team this year, and now i have enough to put together 2 dynamite teams. God just keeps blessing the landmark campus ministry. lots of good things going on!

i talked to my kids from indiana tonight. it was great to catch up with them a bit. they still got all those hilarious inside jokes, so it was almost like a pop quiz to see if i remembered everything from the summer. they are growing together pretty tight i think. they have all come up with bizarre nicknames for each other. sounds like something i would do. anyway, it was a good call. i heard, "we love and miss you" a million times, and that is always good for nostalgia. what can i say? awesome kids.
