winding down

i took a few of my boys paintballing today. i had them all begging me for weeks to take them, so i expected to have a van stuffed full of hormone-driven adolescents and body odor, but no, i got to the office and there were only 3 of them. what gives?! anyway, i had fun regardless of the numbers. quality above quantity! one funny sidenote: there was this other group at the paintball place that we played with today, but all i can remember about them is that they smoked, had foul mouths, and constantly referred to a desperate need to shoot one of their teammates in the boys. talk about weird. oh, and the head instructor was a major pervert.

things are starting to get a little empty around here. the office is being dedavidized, as well as my room at the elder's. i'm not too sad, though. i've moved my whole life from place to place, so i'm not afraid to put down roots and then transplant a little later. i will, of course, miss the awesome folks here. they've made a huge impression on me, and i really hope i've made a good impression on them. i never really find things like that out until i leave. is that always the way it works?

i had some good pizza today. it was some sort of cajun chicken with onions, green peppers, and zucchini. zucchini! whoever thought to put that on a pizza is pretty smart. i liked it. a lot. then again, i like to eat everything.

alright, my flonase cravings have set in. i need some of that stuff. now. bad.
