after yesterday's leg workout at the creek i was more than ready to face the murderous plot of my trainer to destroy my upper body. i fought her off at every bench press, held the fort at every row, and pressed on through every gut-wrenching curl. tomorrow the war will continue, and by august the victory will be mine!

in other news, nathan capps has become a loser and started a blog. not that anyone who blogs is really a loser, those were simply 2 coincidental occurrences. how can i help the fact that some people become losers right when they start blogging, but others become only slightly more nerdy when they start theirs?

nathan knows i love him, otherwise i wouldn't be singing in his wedding.

i framed the map the kids wore out at the creek, and now it hangs on the wall like a museum display. the kids signed it and it bears the nlcc youth group logo and date. things like that just give a good sense of ownership to kids. i think they'll really like it.

well, the discipleship meeting is looking pretty promising. i have to finish the outline for the attenders and then practice again before i train them tonight.
