i love the experience of seeing through people. my kids this past week have been transparent without realizing it, and it's so fun because i see the potential for greatness. maybe i have a gift for that. i hope so at least. one of my guys was contributing to the lesson and saying things that were so right on, but he is so image-conscious that he tries to dull everything he says so he can still maintain his "dumb country kid" persona. i called him on it last night and he knew he was caught, which made him look down and smile nervously.

he's a real diamond inside, and God's about to do some polishing.
